Today’s blog post is a bit of a different one. For the past week I’ve been taking pictures of my friend’s outfits for a street style feature. I’m going to try and make this a regular thing so stay tuned for more posts like this. I hope you are inspired by my friend’s style- Enjoy!
Outfit 1- Olivia
Olivia looks fabulous in baroque print skater dress from New Look. She’s styled it with black cardigan, tights and pumps.
Dress: New Look, Cardigan: H&M, Pumps: Dorothy Perkins
Outfit 2- Rachel
Rachel has got the oversized trend en-pointe by wearing this grey marl jumper (borrowed from her Dad) over Topshop blue skinny jeans. Adidas burgundy trainers add a pop of colour and I love her angel wing earrings!
Jumper: Her Dad’s, Jeans: Topshop, Trainers: Adidas Gazelles, Earrings: Asos
Outfit 3- Rachel
Here’s Rachel again with another great outfit. The main element of this look is her amazing leather bomber jacket with shearling detail. Style it with black jeans, boots and textured jumper like Rachel has done!
Jacket: Asos Marketplace, Jumper: A gift, Jeans: Topshop, Boots: Office
Outfit 4- Charlotte
Charlotte is wearing this gorgeous Zara cape jacket in an oatmeal shade with brushed wool feel and fur collar. She lets the cape do the talking and pairs it with black long sleeve top, thick leggings and black patent boots.
Cape: Zara, Top: New Look, Leggings: M&S, Boots: Office
Outfit 5- Katie
Katie is wearing a grey v-neck jumper and white skinny jeans with a muted floral pattern. I love the soft colour palette and the baggy jumper works well with skinny jeans.
Hi Guys! Today I thought I’d share some of my favourite street style looks from NYFW. Street style is great as it allows me to take inspiration and ideas from others, which I can infiltrate into my own outfits and NYFW is the ideal time to get inspired when all the fashionistas flock in impeccable ensembles to the catwalk shows. – Enjoy!
Geometric embroidered mini and boxy grab bag
Monochrome shift dress paired with minimal ankle strap heels
White cami tucked into tailored blush culottes- simple but amazingly effective!
Fun clutch, red nails and stacking rings- the perfect combination
Androgynous monochrome look- I love the tied shirt- very punchy
Pattern, colour and more pattern- Susie Lau is an inspiration to us all!
This fashionista is rocking the ‘borrowed it from the boyfriend’ look with oversized blazer and overall androgynous, preppy vibe
Leandra Medine otherwise known as the Man Repeller- I adore her white shirt- a twist on your average white button-up paired with denim cut-off shorts
Fringed top, tangerine clutch and black trilby- a real festival style inspired look
I’m not sure if you can count this as street style, because I basically just loved my friend Rachel’s outfit and asked her to take some pics! Rachel is showcasing one of A/W 2013 most significant trends- TARTAN. Rachel is wearing her mother’s beautiful tartan kilt, high-waisted, with a white crop top and an over-sized vintage Ralph Lauren denim shirt. For shoes, her black loathers finish off the look perfectly. In addition, Rachel has added a large safety-pin to fasten the side of the kilt, which I adore, as it’s gives the overall look a customized, quirky vibe. I hope you like this street style look as much as I do- Enjoy!
I’m loving this street style look, that I found on Vogue.co.uk- the combination of horizontal stripes paired with a rich blue denim is divine and in my opinion an absolute classic! This look is also very on trend by assembling the monochrome, stripes and dungarees trend in one outfit- very well done! Additionally, the intense rouge lip and strong quiff really gives the look an extra punch! The Chanel-esque quilted across the body bag is not only practical but ties in with the black stripes on the top! I am very fond of this girl’s style and I hope you like it too- Enjoy!
I’m absolutely loving this mini Eiffel Tower bag which I found on the Topshop Facebook page!! Little quirky bags like this really add a cute aspect to an outfit and this one has been styled to perfection!! I also adore this sugar pink peplum style skirt!!- Such a devine street style look!!- Enjoy!!
This street style look, courtesy of Zara is spectacular! This women has buckets full of style and this outfit screams “chic”!! You can always tell someone is classy and a true fashionista when they incorporate sunglasses into their Autumn/Winter wardrobes! I think what makes this look so striking is the combination of different textures and materials- shimmery marl jumper, snake skin clutch, silky print wideleg trousers finishing off with a huge punch from these stunning gold metallic wedges!! Wish I was this good at putting together outfits- definitely going to take a tip or two from this girl about town!!- Enjoy!!
Vogue has provided me with this visibly elegant street style look, presented by this very stylish Paris Fashion week goer!! Being a slim lady this outfit looks fantastic and the combination of this poofy triangle quilted sweater with this embellished navy mini is breath-taking!! Her vintage style camera and little navy bag complete this very classy but edgy look!! J’adore Paris!!- Enjoy!
This image is from New York fashion week and this gal’s style is immaculate and she completes the whole feel of the outfit with adventurous makeup and accessories!! Her dress uses gorgeous combinations of colour and pattern which portray a very ethnic feel. Also, I’m loving her dragon fly brooch and her makeup is simply stunning and so well done!! I adore this street style look and the photography is also very clever so that is why it’s my image of the day!!- Enjoy!!
Just a quick street style post from New York Fashion week!!- I’m loving the apple, pomogranite and leaf design on them as it reminds me of summer and zingy fruits! These orangey suede heels work really well with the trousers as they balance out the bright pop of colour!!- Enjoy!!
This picture is my image of the day and it is taken from the Vogue Paris website which features street looks from people who have visited New York fashion week!! This one is definitely one of my favourites as this girl’s style is so glamorous and unique!! I especially like the combination of this spotty head-tie, super cool gold sunglasses with monkey’s around the top and red lippy!! The structured black blazer and top also gives the look some added class!! Hope you like it too!!- Enjoy!!
