A couple of weeks ago, I made a trip to the Christmas Market in the beautiful city of Bath. Bath’s Christmas market took inspiration from the traditional German Christmas markets, each store having their own little wooden shed, all in which were intricately decorated with festivity. The store’s sold a variety of gifts, ranging from Christmas pudding hats to Russian dolls and although it was extremely busy, the Christmas market had a warm atmosphere. Santa was patrolling the streets all day long and the rest of Bath’s centre was also packed with Christmas cheer, with the sound of Christmas carols sung by a large choir. My trip to Bath was a very enjoyable and I think a day out to a Christmas market is one of the best ways to get into the festive mood!- Enjoy!
Come down to the luxury department store ‘Harrods’, London and gaze in amazement at their new Christmas window display, inspired by the classic British steam rail. “The Harrods Christmas Express” elegantly stretches around the whole store, with each window featuring a different cabin of the train, of course filled with some of Harrods’ most magnificent couture gowns, draped over mannequins in ornate sets. It took a team of 50 people over 500 to create this masterpiece and Harrods’ 2013 display couldn’t be more magical and it boasts that warm Christmas feel. Every year, Harrods’ Christmas display attracts thousands of shoppers worldwide and I’ll be definitely be catching a train to London, to go and feast my eyes on it!- See you there?- Enjoy!
I know this post is really late and I apologise for the lack of posts recently. This is due to illness and massive amounts of revision to do for my GCSE mocks in January!! Anyway this is what I wore on Christmas Day- I am wearing a new floral Jumper for a shop called Glamorous which I got when I went to Clothes Show live, I am then wearing my Topshop caramel pleated skirt and some M&S grey tights and I am also wearing some silver dangly earings but you can’t see them because of my huge hair hahaha! My sister Chloe (left) is wearing a La Redoute navy lace top, an Asos teal skater skirt, an Accessorize bee necklace and black tights! I had a great day with the family and I hope everyone else enjoyed their Christmas!!- Enjoy!!
Firstly, please ignore the fact that my nails are painted awfully, however relish the fact that I gave it a go! Yesterday I went to my friend Lauren’s house and we watched lots of films, had a nice catchup and painted out nails! I decided to use lots of festive colours and excessive amounts of glitter and I also did a little red snowflake design on my thumb! I had a great evening and it is finally dawning on me how near christmas is-Only a few days to go!! I hope you’re enjoying the christmas period and feel free to share your christmas nails with me!!- Enjoy!!
Last weekend, I did a spot of Christmas Shopping in London. I spent the day strolling along Kings Road in the bitter cold, dotting in and out of the fab shops London has to offer. I went out for lunch and loved the zebra wall paper in the toilets (haha) so did an OOTD against this background. This outfit is fairly casual mainly due to the horrendous weather but all the same I am wearing my frequently worn Asos gold chunky chain necklace, my La Redoute grey marl chunky knit cardi, my Dad’s khaki shirt, my navy high-waisted velvet shorts, navy thick tights and Clothes show live bag. Whilst in London I also went into an incredible shop called Anthropology (I think) and my parents bought me a gorgeous felt plum hat with lots of small rounded silver studs on for a Christmas prezzie- I absolutely adore it!! After that we drove around looking for somewhere to go for a much anticipated afternoon tea and finally found a really cute independent tearoom. I then delved into a scrumptious christmas pudding iced chocolate cupcake and a petite babycino! Overall it was a fantastic day despite the cold!- Enjoy!!
