Just a quick OOTD blog post today! This OOTD is from a few weeks ago when I wore it to work on one of the hottest days of the year- around 30 degrees! I bought this dress from Coco Marie, a womenswear boutique where I work and it’s from Superdry. The relaxed floaty fit and cami straps make it ideal for very hot days and what really sold me with this dress was the gorgeous stripe tie-dye print on dark blue background. This dress has low armholes and back so I wear it with a navy bandeau from Asos but it’s also a great piece to throw over a bikini on holiday. I paired my dress with my rose gold sandals from Ipanema and Mango silver paisley pendant necklace. I kept my makeup very natural since it would have all melted off anyway! Hope you like- Enjoy!
Hey guys! Yesterday was such a beautiful sunny day so I thought I’d whip out my white jeans from Superdry. I wouldn’t usually shop at Superdry but it is one of the brands which Coco Marie (the boutique shop I work at) stocks and this season they have come out with some great pieces! I styled my white skinnies with Ralph Lauren v-neck striped navy and white tee and then added Office patent loathers with flatform. To layer, I threw my La Redoute denim jacket over my shoulders and for accessories I opted for my mum’s navy cross-body bag and dainty gold chain necklace. I wore this outfit for a girly day out shopping in Oxford and afterwards I went to see my friend in a theatre production called ‘Mermaid’ at the Oxford Playhouse. Before I went, when realising how hot it was, I actually changed into a skirt as jeans would have been a bit too hot. I really like this outfit as it’s very minimal and goes by the saying: ‘less is more’. I hope you like it too- Enjoy!
Today, the 27th of April marks the day that I started my blog last year! I can’t believe it’s been a year and I have absolutely loved the experience so far! I’d also like to give an enormous thank you to all the support I have received from the start and I never imagined to the receive the amount of kindness that I have. Today I thought I do a little outfit post and also because of the significance of today I thought I’d tell you a bit more about myself. Firstly, my outfit comprises of a Mango collared printed drop hem dress, La Redoute denim jacket, Urban Outfitters cream over the knee socks, Office caramel loather flatforms and vintage silver crystal earrings. I have straightened my hair, added a red lip and have also applied some fake eyelashes very badly- its my first time so please forgive me! I also ordered this beautiful oversized straw hat the other day, I got it as the summer is drawing near and I love it! So here are 25 facts about me:

I will first apologise for the limited amount of posts recently and this is due to me having LOADS of Januray Mock exams- which has been horrible! However, I only have 3 to go next week so from Friday onwards the posts will hopefully start becoming more regular again. I thought I might do a quick little post! The other day I found this picture on the Elle facebook page of these gorgeous “Moo Sunglasses”! I adore them especially because of the lovely decorative finishes in mint green, baby blue, white, bright yellow and coral pink! My sunglasses are really dull compared to these ones as these are really innovative and colourful and I feel if I owned a pair they would be making a fashion statement in themselves, not just for protecting your eyes from the sun! I think if I were to buy these I would get the white ones as I think they would look fabulous in the summer (paired with freshly tanned skin- as if?) and would probably match with a larger majority of outfits! What’s your favourite?- Enjoy!
As for now the weather here in the UK is pretty decent and as I you can see from my other posts I have a huge mane of curly thick hair so at the moment there’s nothing I like better doing to keep myself cool but to use a patterned silk scarf in a head wrap style!! All I do is fold the scarf into a triangle and then fold and twist into a strip, then starting at the back I wrap the scarf towards the front then I twist the 2 ends and then tie at the back!! I will do a tutorial to explain it better but here is a pic of the scarf head wrap!! Enjoy!!
I’m now back from my holiday in Ireland visiting my family and I have lots of posts lined up relating to the holiday and some looks of what I wore!! On the way to Ireland we stayed a night in Llandudno, Wales ready for the ferry the next day! We stayed in a lovely hotel called Escape which I would really recommend. Whilst I was there I took some lovely shots of the landscape and surrounding which I thought I would share! Enjoy!!
Now I’m back from Holiday I’d thought I’d share one of my outfits which I wore on a day out whilst in the Isle of Wight!! On this day I went to see Thomas the tank engine and friends with my young cousins!! Although I’m probably a tad too old now for Thomas I enjoyed myself all the same!! The weather was gorgeously scorching so I wore this summery casual outfit!! I wore my Topshop blue denim high-waisted shorts with my La Redoute floaty white v-neck top with cross-stitch detail. Then I wore my Zara tan cardi for when it got a but nippier and finally my La Redoute brown suede cross over sandals!! Enjoy!!
