Today marks my 2 years of blogging so I decided to do a post with pink balloons showing me celebrating- I wanted to buy balloons that said 2 years on them but I couldn’t find any so these pink ones had to do. I’d like to say a huge thank you to every one of you who has supported me over these last 2 years and here’s to many more years blogging!
My windowpane check, monochrome peplum top is from Banana Republic and I love the fit and structured wide peplum- very flattering! Then I am wearing a pastel pink scalloped-hem miniskirt from Asos which has been well loved due to the emerging bobbles caused by many washes. Then I have added my statement (extremely heavy) light blue floral necklace from Aldo which is a recent addition to my jewelry collection. To seal off the look, I slipped on my M&S blush pink strappy patent heels to give the outfit more of a dressy feminine touch- hope you like- Enjoy!
Yesterday was a fabulous day! My friend Rachel came over to help choreograph my GCSE Dance piece and then in the evening I went to my friend Katie’s 16th Birthday Party! The dress code was casual and even though you might consider my outfit to be fairly dressy, this is as casual as I get! I am wearing an Asos peplum top, La Redoute grey marl cropped trousers, La Redoute patterned scarf, a Miss Selfridge gold cuff and my Clarks school shoes! Rachel is wearing a Topshop short-sleeved navy lace blouse, an Asos fox necklace, Topshop wetlook leggings and leopard print Vans! We are both wearing a red lip and I wore my hair in a high bun using a donut to give it structure!- Hope you like- Enjoy!
Marc Jacobs’ SS13 collection is in my opinion exquisite! The main trends featured are stripes with red/brown/camel/raspberry and white- Some of the stripey numbers fit into the pyjama trend and others are very striking and bright and remind me of old-fashioned holidays at the beach! In addition there are elements of peplum and lots of outerwear and tops with decorative and extravagant necklines! Marc had also styled a large majority of his coats and jackets worn over bare skin suggesting femininity- it looks very chic! Moreover Marc had also joined in with the uprising trend of the graphic tee- here Marc has used the recognisable face of Mickey Mouse on a grey crop sweat. Above all what really inspired me is the fabulous hair and makeup. A dramatic side fringe paired with a high pony, radiant makeup and a nude lip= perfection!- I made this collage of a selection of pictures (taken from elle.com) from the show and I hope you like!- Enjoy!
Zara’s Autumn/Winter new collection is to die for, featuring many key pieces for the forthcoming cold Autumn/Winter periods!! I adore their new statement necklaces, boucle oversized jackets, feminine lace, chunky cable knits and leather peplums!! I have selected some of my favourite pieces to share- Enjoy!!!
I bet your wondering right this moment, ooh this is a bit late well this is because I was waiting for my friend to upload the photos so I could blog about our outfits! I had a wonderful day and we had a great party in my hamlet ( tiny village)! I wanted to dress up for the occasion so for my outfit I wore (I’m on the left) my Asos mink coloured peplum top with my Topshop wide leg monochrome print pallazzo pants and vintage layered necklace. Later on when it grew a bit colder I flung on my Zara tan cardi. My friend Tosti has great sense of style and is italian so that explains why!! She is wearing some beige cord skinny jeans, a checked red and white shirt with a red little tie. I hope you enjoy this joint outfit post and had a wonderful Jubilee!!
This picture is my image of the day because Giorgio Armani’s new collection is simply romantic and enchanting!! These pastel coloured silky fitted peplum tops are truly devine- the materials used contast with each other and are both equally luxiorious! The matching coloured clutch bags add an extra sprinkling of femininity and the look is completed with a smart black head piece- Bravo Giorgio you’ve done it once again!!
