Yesterday, it was my friend Tosti’s Birthday dinner and we went out to an Italian restaurant called Ask. I had a great time with six other friends who came aswell and I had Fettucine Bolognese for my main and shared some delicious profiteroles for pudding(however they were quite tricky to eat and being me, got chocolate all over my face) !The outfit I wore last night features a lovely La Redoute high-waisted burgundy skirt with pleather panels- you may have also seen it dressed down a bit in another post- https://vintagevicar22.wordpress.com/2012/11/18/autumn-look-pleather-and-cute-dog-scarf/. This look shows how this skirt can be dressed up slightly more for any night out! I have paired it with my vintage silk blouse, M&S thick grey tights, La Redoute grey marl cardi, UO brogues (can’t see), Fossil clutch, Rococo silver dangly earings, a huge side bun and a blackberry lip!- Enjoy!

Yesterday, I went shopping in London and made a trip to Carnaby Street to go into the new Monki shop which I have been waiting almost a year to experience!! The shop’s interior design is incredibly done and you can see why they have won awards for it!! I tried on lots of things and could have bought lots of things but settled for a lovely teal pleated blouse which will be in some up-coming looks!! I also went to Oxord street/Regents street and bought an amazing grey marl pork pie hat in Topshop which you will also be seeing soon!! I really enjoyed my day out and I hope your weekend has been just as good!! I’m wearing my vintage silk white blouse, Asos collar tips, Topshop boucle biker jacket, Topshop camel pleated skirt and UO Brogues!! Hope you like!!
This Look features this vintage waistcoat which I bought from a vintage stall earlier this year. I bought it with sleeves on but decided to cut the sleeves off to get more wear out of it! Its made by a german designer and I bought it for just £3!! I have styled it with a simple La Redoute white shirt, Topshop Paperbag skirt, vintage scarf, UO brogues and finally to add more of a vintage feel this straw picnic style bag which used to be used to hold my tea set as you can see below!! This look is great for picnic’s in the park as it is very smart and vintage of-course!! Enjoy!!
Ok lets just start with conveying how much I adore, love and cherish JELLY SHOOOEESS!! Since, a young child I have, no joke be obsessed with them, I don’t know why, but they just fascinate me and I think WOW everytime I set my eyes on them! When I was little I had a range of jelly shoes such as my rich pink ones with silver sparkles and white flowers on- in which I wore to death!! As soon as they came back into fashion and appeared on the shelves of Urban Outfitters I got just a tad excited. Urban Outfitters have some gorgeous ones, my favourites being these super amazing white and bubblegum pink ones with a small chunk heel- yes you heard it- heeled jelly shoes!! They also do the heeled ones in black as shown below and also some lovely flats in sparkly grey, custard yellow and bright purple. As you can probually tell I am truggling to contain my excitement and it is a personal need for me to purchase some ASAP!! Also a huge advantage of them is that they all fall around the £20 mark which is F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S!!! All pics below!!
Brogues are a classic, vintage type of shoe and match with a range of outfits. My first pair of brogues were bought from Next and were similar to these- they were great and lasted me for ages. But in all of a sudden my feet grew massively from a 3-6 in a short peroid of time, so I asked for some new ones for Christmas as I simply couldn’t live without them!! These ones are from Urban Oufitters in Deena and Ozzy range. They are a beautiful mix of tan leather and suede with the classic punch hole detailing. I haven’t yet found an outfit they don’t go perfectly with!! p.s excuse the scuffing on the left brogue they need a good polish!!
