Here’s a little OOTD featuring High-Waisted Denim Shorts and a Britney Spears-esque blue floral tie-up shirt. I got these shorts from Monki and they are such a summer must-have! I’m pretty sure I’ve worn them over 20 times this summer. This blue floral shirt is my mum’s and it’s from Boden. I feel like it adds a preppy edge to the look and I adore the pastel blue colours. I have finished off the look with my Fossil tan leather clutch which emphasises the cowgirl vibe of the outfit. For shoes if I had them, I would add some cowgirl style tan leather ankle boots, which would further offset the overall look. I hope you like this background of my shed, I thought it would help to portray the look more successfully.- Enjoy!
Today’s post is another OOTD from my holiday in Lemnos, Greece. This OOTD features this lovely crisp white lace dress from Topshop. It’s the perfect dress to wear in the summer as the white colour emphasises a tan and the lace section adds femininity to the look as a whole. This look is simplistic and could be easily recreated with any white dress, just add some tan gladiator sandals like mine from Laredoute, a turquoise gem bracelet, mine’s from Asos and a high topknot bun which polishes off the look. The picturesque views of Lemnos really set off this look with the dominant mountains and hot pink flowers. Enjoy!
Recently, I have been working on decorating my room. In order to save money, I am planning to do as much of it myself and do lots of DIY’s along the way. I went to Ikea the other day and bought lots of plain cushions in which I would make my own cushion covers to go over them. Firstly, I planned on making some patchwork cushions, to make use of some of my small scraps of fabric. I did one with a pink colour palette and one using blues and greens. The process of making was fairly straight-forward and it involved attaching the pieces together using a plain seam, the cushions covers can also be easily removed, as on the back there is two overlapping pieces of fabric. I adore these cushions and it’s easy to add your own twist and personality to them, because you can choose the fabrics yourself and experiment with different combinations. If you give it a go, I’d love to see them!- Enjoy!
Just a quick outfit post, to show what I wore today, meeting up with some friends. I bought this dress a few years ago from Jack Wills and I love the style, floral print and the ruffle along the hem adds a girly feel to the dress. I have accessorized my outfit with a long chain bird cage pendant necklace from Accessorize. My bag is a two-tone tan bag from Clothes show live and my gladiator sandals are from La Redoute. It was a lovely sunny day today and I also caught a pic of a beautiful butterfly resting on a flower that I thought I’d share as well. Enjoy!
Hey guys! Today’s post is an OOTD, of a look that I wore during my holiday in Greece. Due to the scorching hot weather on the Grecian Island of Lemnos, this outfit was perfect! I wore an Asos white off the shoulder crop top with H&M blue and white floral shorts. On my feet, I wore my La Redoute strappy gladiator sandals and to accessorize my outfit I wore Rimmel red nail polish called Hip Hop. This outfit is very simple but as I said before it’s ideal for soaking up the rays and for keeping cool. Hope you like! Enjoy!
