OOTD- High-Waisted Denim and Tie-up Shirt

Here’s a little OOTD featuring High-Waisted Denim Shorts and a Britney Spears-esque blue floral tie-up shirt. I got these shorts from Monki and they are such a summer must-have! I’m pretty sure I’ve worn them over 20 times this summer. This blue floral shirt is my mum’s and it’s from Boden. I feel like it adds a preppy edge to the look and I adore the pastel blue colours. I have finished off the look with my Fossil tan leather clutch which emphasises the cowgirl vibe of the outfit. For shoes if I had them, I would add some cowgirl style tan leather ankle boots, which would further offset the overall look. I hope you like this background of my shed, I thought it would help to portray the look more successfully.- Enjoy!

Maxi Skirt Summery OOTD- 01/06/13

Yesterday, it was a gorgeous sunny day and I went and did a spot of shopping at Bicester Village accompanied by my Mum and later on, joined by my sister! I decided to take advantage of this lovely day and dress all summery (these kind of days in England tend to be pretty rare at the moment)! I am wearing this vintage ditsy floral maxi skirt which I adore, with a simple Topshop white sleeveless top, my vintage tan leather clogs, my La redoute denim jacket, my Fossil leather clutch and my Ted Baker beetle jem necklace! This look is fairly simple but the movement and style of the maxi skirt really gives the look an extra feminine and girly feel. I hope you like this OOTD and please do excuse the crazy windswept hair!- Enjoy!

Zara Floral Blouse- In 2 ways

About a month ago, I bought this gorgeous Zara Printed Floral blouse. If you read my blog regularly you will most definitely be aware with my obsession for shirts/blouses and this particular one is fabulous. The large majority of my ever-expanding collection of shirts/blouses are plain and I was just thinking the other day that I really do need some more patterned, colourful ones. This one was in the sale for only £9.99 and I personally think it looks very expensive! It’s a very smooth and silky, most probably imitation silk blouse and its coated in this elegant, vibrant floral pattern and also has blue and burgundy sections along the sides. Here I have styled it in a 2 ways and I did this post with the help of my close friend Olivia! The first look is the more dressy of the two and I have simply paired it with my La Redoute burgundy pleather midi skirt, UO Brougues, pearl earrings, Fossil brown leather clutch and wavy hair. The second look is more casual and would also work well with blue skinny jeans. Olivia is wearing Topshop black leggings, my vintage pearl necklace, pearl earrings, Fossil clutch bag, pinky/purply lippy and I did her hair using a donut and wrapping a thick plait around it. These looks can be easily re-created and changed from dressy to casual from swapping a skirt for jeans/leggings, and all you need is a staple printed blouse/shirt.

OOTE-(Outfit Of The Evening)- Birthday Dinner

Yesterday, it was my friend Tosti’s Birthday dinner and we went out to an Italian restaurant called Ask. I had a great time with six other friends who came aswell and I had Fettucine Bolognese for my main and shared some delicious profiteroles for pudding(however they were quite tricky to eat and being me, got chocolate all over my face) !The outfit I wore last night features a lovely La Redoute high-waisted burgundy skirt with pleather panels- you may have also seen it dressed down a bit in another post- https://vintagevicar22.wordpress.com/2012/11/18/autumn-look-pleather-and-cute-dog-scarf/. This look shows how this skirt can be dressed up slightly more for any night out! I have paired it with my vintage silk blouse, M&S thick grey tights, La Redoute grey marl cardi, UO brogues (can’t see), Fossil clutch, Rococo silver dangly earings, a huge side bun and a blackberry lip!- Enjoy!

OOTE- (Outfit of the Evening)- Paisley and Velvet

Last night I went to one of my friends 16th birthday parties!! It was such a good party and the dress code was casual- however being me, I dressed up a tad!! I am wearing my Asos chunky chain gold necklace, Asos Paisley print shirt/kimono, Vintage navy high waisted velvet shorts (they used to be trousers)- which I’ve being wearing very frequently recently, they are a great Autumn/Winter staple and finally I am wearing grey knit tights and was also wearing navy loathers and a Fossil Clutch bag when I arrived!! My lipstick colour is called “Mad about Mauve” and I do apologise for the awful image quality my little fujifilm doesn’t handle very well with low light levels!! Overall, I had a fabulous night and I wish Sarah a Happy Birthday!!- Enjoy!!

Summery Dip Hem Maxi Skirt LOOK

This post is to show some pictures of a look I have put together. The look is summery and lovely and the main pieces are this lovely River Island cross over dip hem grey maxi skirt which was only £19.99. Then this super cute minty blue blouse from Boden and it has a rounded colar and little dots on. Then I am wearing this quirky moustache silver necklace from Asos SALE which was only £2!!!! I then have my tan leather Fossil clutch and then these lovely pinky sandals with lots of beading details on them. My hair is just down and crazily curly but here are some pictures my sister helped me take. Sorry I can’t show my face as I am still quite young but I will start showing my face in the near future!! Enjoy!! I also got my friend to do me a sparkly temp. tattoo yesterday- I love it!!

Sparkly blue tattoo!!

Trying to avoid flashing!!!

Bit weird my sister made me run!!

White Basic Top- Styled in 4 ways

This post is to show this Topshop White basic top which I recently bought for £10. It can be styled in many different ways but here I have 4 looks. The first look consists of the white top tucked into this midi denim skirt with slit at the front- I have styled it with this Mini Boden Gold belt, layered white gold necklace and vintage 2 tone backpack. The second look consists of the white top again, this La redoute pink floral scarf, these Topshop turquoise tapered trousers (more turquoise than pic shows)- I have finished the look with my tan leather fossil clutch bag and this evil eye bracelet which I’m wearing high up the arm. The next look is the white top styled with my favourite palazzo pants, these were from the Topshop sale for a bargain price and are this beautiful monochrome pattern and very wide legged. I have then added my rose gold chocker from H&M and my clothes show live 2 tone tan bag. The next look is a more summery look and the top has been tucked into this Zara floral skirt with accessorize double buckle belt. I have then added this blue and white vintage pearl necklace and this little turquoise bag which I bought from Florence, Italy at a little stall. As you can see it is easy to style a plain white top as they go with pretty much anything- a great basic to have!! p.s. my legs aren’t this white I’m just wearing my ballet tights!!!

OOTD

I thought I would share what I am wearing today, I’m not going out today just studying and working on my new blog which I hope everyone is enjoying! This outfit includes a small necklace with a hamsa hand which is a current trend at the mo’, it is gold and I think very cute- it was £4 from accessorize! I am also wearing a vintage sky blue sleeveless shirt. Then there is my zara fairisle cardigan with a little house and people pattern and heart shaped pockets. Then there is my gorgeous tan leather fossil cluth bag which I picked up whilst in America, it is actually mens but I love it so much and it also has an elegant fine check lining. I love wearing this outfit around the house with my levi jeans or it can be dressed up by adding my caramel topshop pleat shirt and maybe my aubergine bomber jacket.
